A Big Change for Our Coffee

Level Ground Trading has provided Ten Thousand Villages with high-quality, fair trade coffee for two decades.  Customers have come to expect amazing coffee in their cup that is both reasonably priced and ethically sourced.

The only coffee now available is Level Ground's 300g packaging with their own labeling.  Although they suggest that we sell the coffee for $11.95 per bag, our Board of Directors has chosen to sell at a retail price of $11.50.

If you have been used to purchasing the old 1lb Villages branded bags, the chart below will help you to navigate the new labelling.  These recommendations come directly from Level Ground.  In somes cases, there will be little or no change while, in others, customers may need to find a new favourite roast based on their favourite country of origin.
Please Note:  All the new Level Ground 300g bags come in BOTH Beans AND Ground!

If you love either the Tanzanian or Congo coffee, you are advised to migrate to a blend of African coffees called "East Africa:  Dark & Balanced".  We note that this blend of Ethiopian, Congo, and Tanzanian beans was the blend of the Original "Winter Harvest" coffee several years ago.  Also, our old Espresso beans were just the Tanzanian beans roasted to a medium-dark, so East Africa will be the closest to that blend as well.
